    • In-Game Name: Byte Age: 15 Timezone: Michigan/EST Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:123035340 Steam Profile (Link): https://steamcommunity.com/id/nojofogaming Hours on the server: Somewhere around 548 (can provide a screenshot tomorrow if you need it) Times Active: About 5-7 hours a week on average, days will vary. Why I want/should be a moderator: I have plenty of experience staffing on RetributionRP, and feel as if I can appropriately provide the server and it's players additional help along with the current staff team. Have you read the rules fully, understand them and are wanting to enforce them as correctly as possible?: Yes Are you willing to listen to any Staff member chosen to mentor and guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: Yes Are you able to Staff actively on the server for several hours a week?: Yes SITUATIONS: The server begins to lag and players are complaining about prop spam:  I would start out by taking a look at the prop logs. Checking for any signs that somebody might be prop spamming, and continue from there. If nothing popped out in the logs, I would begin to ask around and see if anyone knows of any likely suspects. Once I have found who it was coming from, I would goto the person and confirm that it wasn't just them pasting a dupe, or anything of that sort. If it was a small case of prop spam, that most certainly wasn't intentional, I would let the person know that they can't do it again and keep my eye on them for a little while. If it was a more serious case of prop spam, and/or was intentional, I would grab any evidence that is needed, ban the person for 12 hours, and then file an extension. People begin to complain about an "illegal base": I would first find out who owns the potentially illegal base, most likely by asking whoever was complaining about it in the first place. Once I have figured that out, I would teleport to them or find their base, and begin a fast check for common basing rules that are broken. After I have finished that, I would take note of any rules I believe to have been broken, and begin a more thorough check. Once I believe that I have checked for any rules that I know are applicable to the base, I would talk to the owner of the base and let them know of my findings. Then, as I wait for them to fix up the base, I will pay attention to any higher priority calls, and check back on the base in a few minutes. If they were to not comply with fixing the base, I would give them a second chance and tell them that if they failed to fix the base, that I will be required to take further action. If they were to continue to refuse to fix their base, I would kick them form the server, remove dc props, and warn them for an illegal base. You see another staff member abusing his/her powers: I would probably start by talking to them first, and making sure I wasn't just misunderstanding the situation, and tell them what they were doing wrong. If they knew what they were doing was wrong, they did it again, or it was more severe, I would grab all of the necessary evidence and report them to a higher-up. A player is extremely uncooperative during a sit: If they were interfering with the sit, I would do anything necessary for the sit to continue forward smoothly. If they were to start insulting me, I would simply ignore it unless it was causing any interference. If they were to start insulting the other player, I would gag/mute them until they were needed to speak. If they expressed that they felt I wasn't properly doing my job, I would direct them to the forums and let them know that they are able to make a complaint against me if they feel the need. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR: RDM: Random deathmatch, or the act of killing a player without valid reason. RDA: Random arrest, or the fact of arresting a player without valid reason. NLR: New life rule, a rule which states that you may not return to any place of death for at minimum five minutes. You may also not hold any interactions with players from your previous life, or recall any memories. Taking on the role as if you were living a new life. If a player was accused of excessively RDMing (which I will refer to as mass rdm), I would begin by checking the logs and seeing if they had an unusual kill count within a short time frame. If this were the case, I would bring the person to a sit and begin questioning their actions, bringing any other involved players as necessary. If it came to the conclusion that they had indeed committed mass RDM, I would properly punish them according to the situation. (Typically involving a 1 week ban.) The same as above would apply to excessive or mass RDA. If a player was accused of excessively breaking NLR, I would first run /nlrcheck on the player in question to see if they even broke NLR in the first place. Then, depending on whether they actually had broken NLR, I would confront the player and question their reasoning behind breaking NLR. If no appropriate reason could be provided, that was backed up by any valid evidence, I would properly punish them according to the situation. (Additional Comments): I asked Dave if I could apply early, and he said it was fine.
