People and MODS stating "good app" yet the dude said prop spam is a verbal warning? Do people even read the answers anymore? You can figure out prop spam being a perma ban if you've been on the server long enough and I think that right there just proves you really don't deserve the position. I don't really have much of a say considering I've been gone for awhile now, but I'm pretty disappointed.

Knowing the rules and then breaking them is worst than not knowing the rules in my opinion. Especially when considering the fact that you want to be a staff member that ENFORCES the rules.

PopeTart's Moderator Application In-Game Name: PopeTart Age: 14 Timezone: CST/Tennessee Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:155665423 Steam Profile (Link): https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198271596574/ Hours on the server: 600 hours Times Active: On weekdays I clock in anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours, and on weekends that gets tripled if I am free. I am normally available every day, however on rare occasions that can change. If something like that were to happen (and it were to last more than a week) I would try to put in a notice. Why I want/should be a moderator: I have been noticing a drought in staff attention lately. In addition to this, I feel like I could improve the overall health of the server by bringing fair judgement, and a new pair of eyes to the staff team. This server as well as it's community has helped me grow and develop over the (almost) one and a half years I have occupied it. To say I want to help care for it is an understatement, as I want what is best for this server. Have you read the rules fully, understand them and are wanting to enforce them as correctly as possible?: Yes, I have gone over the MOTD and the Staff Handbook multiple times and represent a clear understanding of how to enforce and understand them. Are you willing to listen to any Staff member chosen to mentor and guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: Yes, I will follow the Staff Hierarchy, and respect those kind enough to help me learn to Moderate. To keep your Staffing position you are required at least 7 hours a week of in-game activity, can you meet this?: Yes. My schedule easily allows it. SITUATIONS: The server begins to lag and players are complaining about prop spam: If many people complain about prop spam, then it is best to check the logs for any evidence of prop spam. Prop spam can easily be identified, as the player will likely be using the stacker tool excessively, or spawning props excessively. If there is not a substantial amount of lag, I will teleport to who I suspect is causing the issue. If the player were to be maliciously spawning props I would follow typical procedure and gather proof as to how they were attempting to damage or lag the server. Resources such as screen capturing, shadowplay, prop logs, and chat logs should be utilized in order to guarantee sufficient evidence is gathered. This evidence can be used in the case of a ban appeal. After gathering proof, a ban should be administered (12 hours). If the server is initially lagging before I can teleport to the suspect, it is best that I freeze all props. To be sure prop abuse is malicious I will talk to the player, and access the situation myself. If someone is spawning babies for a Role Play, just verbally warn them that this could cause lag, and tell them to reduce the amount of props utilized. If more reports come in, or I decide to evaluate the situation further, the report is likely malicious, and should be handled as such. People begin to complain about an "illegal base": The illegal base should be fully inspected if a report comes in. Keep in mind, however, it is wise to notify or teleport the owner beforehand to alert him to your presence. If I am unsure of the legality of a base, I should use my resources (MOTD, Higher Ups, etc.). After finding the problem, I will screenshot the part that is illegal. Once identifying the error with the base, I will notify the owner of the changes he needs to make, and if necessary give him the line from the MOTD to reinforce my claim. Sufficient time should be given to the player in order to fix his base. If more reports come in, it is clear the player is refusing to make changes. If a player refuses to make the changes, or flat out ignores me, I will give them a warning to pay attention. If I had already told them of the errors of their base in a previous sit, they will be kicked (with notice). If a player refuses to listen to the warning, a kick will also be used in order to re-open the property. Clearing disconnected props directly after the kick should also be done in order to ensure the base is gone. You see another staff member abusing his/her powers: There can be many forms of staff abuse, one of the most common forms is when a member of the staff team uses no-clip to enter areas he has no business entering. If an on duty staff member is collecting printers, then that hints that he/she is abusing power. Confrontation is not key in this scenario. Instead, a higher up should be notified immediately, and proof should be meticulously gathered if possible. A player is extremely uncooperative during a sit: If a player disagrees with how I handle or judge I sit, I shall simply reference them the forums, and at which topic they can report me at. However if the player can construct a reasonable argument, I will allow him to speak. If a punishment is irrefutable, and they have already had a chance to speak, then I will simply notify them of the punishment, and execute that punishment. If players insult me excessively, a gag or mute should be used. This guarantees the berating will stop, whilst calming the situation. However, a player can still escalate situations by damaging other players, or spamming props during a sit. Freezing the player should be done in this case. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR: [What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?] RDM stands for the term Random Death Match. This means a player randomly (for no reasonable or legal RP purpose) starts an encounter in which somebody is damaged. RDA is just like RDM, except it concerns the unjust use of the arrest baton. RDA is clear to notice, as those who are arrested are listed at the top of the screen. RDM on the other hand must be handled differently. Things like /nlrcheck, damage logs, and death logs should be used to check for RDM. If an excessive amount of RDA or RDM occurs, it is considered massRDM/RDA. This will lead to a more harsh punishment, especially for repeat offenders. NLR is when a player returns to a roleplay situation in which they previously died in. NLR can be fluid in the way it is used. NLR can consist of talking to someone 5 minutes before their death, or it can be going back to the gun shop in which you were killed in previously. NLR is something that a new player should be notified about if they are warned, as it is hard for newer players to know about or understand that rule. /nlrcheck along with death logs can be used to identify new life rule being broken. (Additional Comments): Thank you.

I could care less about the prop spam part of the staff application. My main issue revolved around the fact that people went straight to stating "good app" implying to me that nobody really cared enough to read his answers or others responses on the matter. What I said to Phantom just about clears it up, ("I appreciate your response back, but I personally don't have a problem with you at all. I was putting forth my hatred mainly towards the people who made that statement, not because of what you did. It may sound weird, but you should feel offended that people you're supposed to be looking up to are skimming over something as important as this that you spent a lot of time on. If anything, you should actually be looking forward for people to call you out on mistake so you don't make the same ones as a staff member because no offense, it'd make you look stupid").

You, Revolt, Marble, Zeezy, Rnphillips and Ban state something along the lines of "knows rules" yet he did the invisible model thing recently? Pretty confused here.
