  1. Honey, I Shot the kids's Moderator Application In-Game Name: Honey I Shot The Kids Age: 17 Timezone: EST Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:50721908 Steam Profile (Link): https://steamcommunity.com/id/Shotthekids/ Hours on the server: 30 Times Active: I play almost everyday when I get out of work, which is around 7:30pm or 10pm est, and I play during the day when I am not working Why I want/should be a moderator: I've known jouaram for about 4-5 years, I've been staff on his previous servers and I've owned a couple of servers myself, I play as much as I can and it seems whenever I am on there are people breaking rules, I've been RDMed countless amounts of times and yet some of the staff never assist me. Since I work a real job I know how to interact with people, handle annoying people, etc. I can manage situations maturely and within short times of each other. I can work fast paced, and I don't care about peoples feelings so I will not be biased at any point, and will not sugar coat punishments. I want to help jouaram and the players of the server have the best experience they can whilst playing. I am respectful if respect is given to me, I know how to handle any situation given to me and how to go about with punishment. I'm willing to help out the community as much as I can. I will be more active both in game and on the forums if I am accepted, I like to have a say in the community and as of right now my voice doesn't seem to be heard. Have you read the rules fully, understand them and are wanting to enforce them as correctly as possible?: Yes Are you willing to listen to any Staff member chosen to mentor and guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: Yes To keep your Staffing position you are required at least 7 hours a week of in-game activity, can you meet this?: Yes SITUATIONS: The server begins to lag and players are complaining about prop spam: I can find the source of propspam by checking the logs and/or console, its easy to determine what is and isn't propspam, for example, teleport to the player spamming the props and see whats going on, and if its clear that it is intentional propspam, it will result in a perma ban, but if the server is lagging too much to goto the player, kick the player and remove disconnected props, if they join back and continue it will become a perma ban. People begin to complain about an "illegal base": To make sure the player fixes the issue of the illegal base, I will tell them to read the basing rules in the motd and give them a verbal warning to fix it, if they do not comply, ill kick them and remove their props. You see another staff member abusing his/her powers: An example of staff abuse would be constantly teleporting a player to them and killing them over and over, If I see a staff member abusing their powers I will first call them out on it, and if they fail to listen and do not stop I will go directly to jouaram or another higher up about it. A player is extremely uncooperative during a sit: If a player does not like my judgement of a sit I will first try and talk to them about it to see how else we could sort it out, if they're request is unreasonable I will not accommodate to their request, and if they start disrespecting me via voice or text chat I will gag and mute them, and if they continue with other methods such as RDM or textscreens, etc, a different punishment will be put into place. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR: RDM is random deathmatch (Killing a player without a valid RP reason) RDA is the similar, random arresting (arresting a player without a valid reason) and NLR is new life rule, meaning you cannot go to your previous death point for 5 minutes and you can't remember anything in you past life. You can determine if a player is breaking these rules by checking the logs and bringing both players involved into a sit, you can determine NLR by checking the time the player was killed and if he was killed by the same person via logs. (Additional Comments): I realize I do not have the 60 hours required, but I believe I can be a good staff member, and help out the players when nobody else is, especially when no others are on, usually 1 other staff member is on when I am, yet there are still lots of players on, and when some players are breaking rules the online staff will either ignore me, or be afk, that's why I want to be staff so I can help out the community when nobody else is. Thank you for your time and consideration.
